Grammar (11+) exams
Preparing for the grammar school entrance exams requires focused teaching, insider understanding, and a calm, structured approach. I bring experience from working in an outstanding grammar school in Gloucestershire, where I supported students and invigilated the entrance exams. I also sat - and passed- the grammar school exams myself, as well as selective private school entrance tests, giving me first-hand insight into what these assessments demand. My preparation sessions cover the four key areas: Maths, English, Verbal reasoning and Non-verbal reasoning (some Grammar schools no longer require NVR). I work with children from age 8, offering one-hour online sessions that build confidence, strengthen core skills, and develop effective exam strategies.
